Join us for our annual Speaker Series — an engaging, multi-part adult education program focused on Central Oregon’s rivers and streams. Each year, we offer two sessions, each highlighting a different local watershed. This series is a great way to learn about your local waterways, connect with experts, and discover ways to get involved in protecting and enjoying the watersheds that sustain our communities.
Whychus Watershed Workshop
Join us at the Hub in Sisters for our Whychus Watershed Workshop Series this February through April. This engaging series brings together local conservation leaders and natural resource experts for presentations and hands-on components exploring watershed history, water quality, native fish, stream restoration and more! Participants will try their hand at fly-casting, get creative with native fish art, and wrap up the series with an inspiring film event.
Upper Deschutes Speaker Series
Join us at the High Desert Museum for our Upper Deschutes Watershed Speaker Series this April through June. This inspiring education series will offer engaging evening sessions about hydrology, geology, water management, conservation, native fish reintroduction and much more! There will also be two full-day field tours to explore our fascinating watershed firsthand.
