We are seeking a motivated college student to support our restoration, monitoring, and watershed education activities this summer. This annual internship is being offered in memory of Andrew Dutterer, a partner and colleague who worked at the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board until his tragic passing in a car accident in 2021. This internship is funded by the Andrew Dutterer Memorial Fund, created by Andrew’s family and friends. To be considered for the internship, applicants must be a current student at Oregon State University Cascades Campus or Central Oregon Community College and currently studying natural resources, environmental science, environmental education, biology, hydrology, engineering or a related field. The internship will be approximately 10 weeks between July and September of 2026 with some flexibility for start and end dates. The intern will work approximately 30 hours per week and will be paid $18/hour. The selected intern will have a chance to experience working in the field of natural resources and will learn about and work with many of the other conservation organizations we collaborate with. This internship is intended to provide work experience that will benefit Central Oregon students embarking on a career in natural resources.
